Meet Dr Myles Lear

Dr Myles Lear graduated from Liverpool University (UK) in 1983. Several years later he lectured there to new graduates on a wide range of subjects.

He established his own practice in 1986 but left for the blue skies of Australia in 1997 together with his wife Carol and young daughters Robyn and Brogan.

He quickly bought a dental practice in Neutral Bay on Sydney ’s Lower North Shore establishing Teeth for Life afterwards. Relocation to larger premises followed in 2002 and then in 2007 he joined forces with Dr Phillip Stein at his current location – Progressive Dental in Cremorne’s Town Centre.

Myles enjoys crown and bridgework and the new generation mini dental implants are currently ringing Myles’ bell.

Myles is the "dental expert" (our very own star) on radio 2GB’s Meditalk program. Call him and ask a really difficult question!!

Outside of the practice Myles likes to travel, having visited over 25 countries, many on several occasions. He believes that "Istanbul is somewhere everyone should see before they die"

A rabid Manchester United fan he is able to gloat on a weekly basis (sorry Phil). Myles also runs the Sydney Marathon every year. Planned home renovations have kept him awake at nights for the past 9 years but with completion likely by Christmas 09 there will be plenty of room for all including the dog, 2 cats and 3 rabbits that complete the Lear family.
